Provincial Food and Drug Administration had an On-site Inspection of the Production and Usage of Traditional Chinese Medicine Extract in Daphne
Two experts from the Provincial Food and Drug Administration and the leaders of the prefectural bureau had an on-site inspection of the production and usage of traditional Chinese medicine extract in our company on Mar. 18 to Mar. 19, 2016. This inspection focused on the source and producing area of the traditional Chinese medicine used by our company, the processing of traditional Chinese medicine slices and the inspection of the traditional Chinese medicine and the medicine slices, whether the quality audit for the extract manufacturers is strengthened, whether the source of the extract is fixed, whether the extract is purchased according to the requirements for the extract usage filed and whether the extract not filed is put into production. The inspection team listened to the report, examined the documents and carried out on-site inspection. They also visited the extraction workshop to inspect the record, processing procedure, production operation and asked the operators questions. After two days of careful inspection, they discovered some issues in the extraction workshop and gave good suggestions. The inspection team believed that during the production and usage of traditional Chinese medicine extract, Daphne organized production in strict accordance to the standard and that there is no illegal behaviors. They determined that the company passed this inspection.
