Business Scope, Products and Scale

The company produces Chinese patent medicine and preparations. It produces 116.8 tons of Panax Notoginseng extract and 640 tons of Panax Notoginseng medicinal slices each year. It can produce 1000 million tablets, 600 million capsules, 80 million bags of granules and 40 million bags of powder each year. Its products include Panax  Notoginseng Saponins, Qishengli Tablet, Qishengjing Tablet, Panax Notoginseng Capsular, Danshen Yixin Capsular, Tiaojin Yangyan Capsular, Sanqi Shangyao Tablet and Qiye Shen’an Tablet.

The major contaminants are sewage, waste gas and waste residue. 1. Sewage. the total discharge amount is 12150m³/year. Discharge concentration of COD is 35.71mg/L. The discharge amount is 3.47tons/year; the discharge concentration of BOD is 18.05mg/L. The discharge amount is 1.75tons/year. The discharge concentration of suspended solids is 13mg/L. The discharge amount is 1.23tons/year. The discharge concentration of ammonia nitrogen is 0.54mg/L. The discharge amount is 0.053 ton/year. The sewage is discharged into the municipal sewage pipe network after treated in the sewage treatment station. 2. Waste gas. The total discharge amount is 9703 ten thousand cubic meters. The soot discharge concentration is 31.88mg/m³; the discharge amount is 1.598 tons/year. The discharge concentration of sulfur dioxide is 79mg/m³. The discharge amount is 3.938 tons/year. The dust discharge concentration is 6.68mg/m³; the discharge amount is 0.019 ton/year. The waste gas is discharged after cyclone dust removal and water curtain dust removal. 3. Waste residue. The total discharge amount is 300t/a. The waste residue is taken by Wenshan Jinchuan Biofertilizer Co., Ltd. to manufacture biofertilizer. Schedule 1 of Emission Standard of Air Pollutants for Boiler (GB13271-2001) is applicable for the waste gas.
