     On the April 1, 2012 morning, the prefectural Party committee and prefectural government co-held a work conference on water conservancy facility construction and draught relief, and summarization of the water conservancy facility construction work since the 11th Five-Year Plan Period. At the conference, it was pointed out that, since autumn in 2009, the whole prefecture suffered rarely seen long draught, which caused huge losses to the industrial and agricultural production activities and significant impact on the work and life of the local people. A donation ceremony was staged at the conference. Daphne donated RMB 1 million yuan for the draught relief campaign as a move to fulfill the Chinese tradition of “coming to aid of victim of disaster”.
