On July 4, 2014, under accompaniment of Yunnan provincial governor Li Jiheng, chairman Luo Zhengfu and vice chairman Wang Chengcai of Yunnan Provincial People's Political Consultative Conference and officials from the Wenshan Prefecture and Municipality, an investigation & research team led by Ma Biao, vice chairman of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) paid a visit to Daphne. The team was sent by a priority plan proposal supervision & handling office for Revolutionary Base Area in the Zuo Jiang and You Jiang Region. The guests were warmly received by Chairman Tang, standing VP Tian Qing, VP Li Mingkun and BOD secretary Xiong Wenfu in the exhibition hall. After presentation by Chairman Tang on Daphne's history and products, Mr. Ma asked about the original and meaning of the company's name Daphne. During their stay in Daphne, Mr. Ma got a clear picture of each product in the exhibition hall, and exchanged with Governor Li Jiheng and Chairman Tang.
