On May 7, 2014, at a prefectural quality campaign driving meeting held by the Wenshan Prefectural People's Government, Wenshan Prefectural People's Government Decision on Commending Winners of the First Wenshan Prefectural People's Government Quality Management Awards was announced. The Decision pointed out that the Wenshan Prefecture launched the prefectural quality strategy to push advanced management practice for excellent performance, and strengthened quality management continuously. That led to significant improvement of quality competitiveness in industries and made great contribution to better development, harmonious society and people's livelihood. During the campaign, many advanced models for quality management were identified. Under the regulations of the Wenshan Prefectural People's Government Methods for Management of Quality Management Awards and Wenshan Prefectural People's Government Rules for Quality Management Award Selection, Wenshan Prefectural People's Government Quality Management Award Jury Committee selected winners of the first Wenshan Prefectural People's Government quality management awards.
