        At December 30, 2009, 9 a.m., a public marathon event organized by the Wenshan Prefecture kicked off at the prefectural Stadium of Nations. More than 20,000 people from more than 200 organizations, including military troops, institutions, enterprises and schools, participated in the event, which has been a traditional activity in the prefecture designed to promote public fitness campaign, improve the public health, enrich the spiritual and cultural life among the public, and develop a healthy and civilized lifestyle.
        50 uniformly dressed participants from Daphne, in a matrix, joined the race. Their vitality and vibrancy displayed the aggressive spirit of the Daphne's people and earned wide attention and praise.
