        On the September 3, 2009 morning, a site review team of 4 headed by Madam Jiang Yuping, a vice departmental head at Yunnan provincial Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau arrived at Daphne for site review, a step of the Yunnan Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau Sanitary Registration of Export Food Manufacturers. Under accompaniment of officials from the prefectural Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, the site review team convened a site review meeting at Daphne's report hall. At the meeting, 10 Daphne's panax notoginseng extract products, panax notoginseng, panax notoginseng powder and panax notoginseng blossoms were reviewed as a part of sanitary registration of export food manufacturers.
        The review meeting was chaired by Madam Jiang. Officers from Daphne Quality Dept., Production Dept., Market Dept. and Project Team presented their report on quality system building, management system building, panax notoginseng GAP plantation management, production management, production and sales, and provided information of the relevant products in production.
        Through site visit and data review, the review team pointed out problems in two aspects: defects of the panax notoginseng GAP material base and material acceptance process. For example, the records are not complete. There is no pesticide use log and signature of pesticide user. The records only contain information of pesticide concentration, without consumption information. 
        Through listening to the report, data review, site review and comprehensive assessment, the review team concluded that the Daphne Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd Yunnan did a good job in quality system and management system building, HR training and panax notoginseng GAP plantation training, and all the assessment targets were met. The reports were clear and well-organized, with key points highlighted.
