GMP knowledge contest held by Daphne Co. in celebration of "National Day"

      For the sake of in-depth implementation of the spirit of the document Staging Large-scale Promotional Campaign: Month of "Safe Drug Administration, Care for the People's Livelihood" across the Country by China FDA, further improvement of the staff's expertise, strengthening sense of quality and responsibility for safety of drugs among the staff, promotion of the corporate culture, and fully display of Daphne staff's aspiration to learn, concrete work and high spirit, on September 30, 2007, the Company's Office of Directors, together with each in-house department and operation, held a GMP knowledge contest surrounding the theme of "GMP——our basis of survival" to mark the upcoming "National Day".
        The knowledge contest, mainly based on knowledge of the Law of Drug Administration, Methods for Supervision and Management of Drug Circulation, and Code for Management of Drug Manufacturing Quality, integrates knowledge, education and mass event, winning active response and participation from the staff. Nine delegates from all departments appeared on the contest stage. The quiz questions include essential ones, optional ones and quick fire questions. The contestants were active to answer the questions, bringing down the house. The contest peaked in the stage of quick fire questions. All contestants use their best to answer the questions, making the site atmosphere very hot. Whenever it was turn of audience, all the audience members were active to strive for the chance of answering the questions, and their answers were quick and clear. The hot atmosphere appealed to everyone on site. Even guests from relevant prefectural regulator participated in the quiz, and explained some disputed questions. Through tense competition, QA Office and Preparation Workshop came in first with 460 points each, followed by the Office of Directors and Financial Department with 390 points and 360 points respectively. The Company officials presented certificates and awards to the winners.
        The GMP knowledge contest was not only a mere knowledge quiz, but also a good GMP training chance. In addition to popularization of the GMP knowledge and safe production knowledge, it formed a basis for us to do the GMP work in a more delicate, deeper and more perfect way. In the future, we should organize more similar events, so that GMP is promote by all means feasible and in all ways feasible to strengthen our GMP management, create a strong air of mutual competition and learning among the staff, improve their expertise and skills, further promote drug laws and regulations, and strengthen the staff's sense and ability of producing really good and safe drugs for the public.
