On February 19, 2014, a team led by Zhao Zhenkang, vice chief of the Yunnan Provincial Local Tax Bureau visited Daphne for investigation & research. They were accompanied by vice Wenshan prefectural governor Zhang Xiulang and some officials from the prefectural & municipal Local Tax Bureaus and warmly received by standing VP Tian Qing and VP Li Guangyun at the exhibition hall. After introduction by the guide to Daphne's history and products, Mr. Zhao asked about the manufacturing process and effect of the Thrombosis, Qishengli and Qishengjing Tablets. Mr. Tian Qing gave a briefing on Daphne's 2013 production and business performance and painted a picture of Daphne's ideas for next step. After that, Mr. Zhao pointed out that Daphne was a pharmaceutical enterprise featuring utilization of local biological resources, playing a significant role in driving the Panax notoginseng industry and increasing farmer's income. The Wenshan prefecture and municipal local tax authorities shall do a good job in service and management. Firstly, the local tax authorities shall pay attention and provide support in the event of high challenge due to surging price of raw materials. Secondly, the Municipal Local Tax Bureau shall list Daphne as a big enterprise covered by program of tax risk management and individualized service. The prefectural & municipal local tax bureaus shall fix a special organization and persons to support the enterprise and address difficulties and problems raised by the enterprise. Third, local tax authorities shall offer suggestions on development of the enterprise. Their development will provide guarantee for local tax source. Vice prefectural governor Zhang required the prefectural & municipal local tax authorities to implement the above instructions ASAP. In the meantime, Daphne shall grab opportunity, organize production, develop the market and strengthen internal management to go for further upgrading.
