       On April 30, 8:30 a.m., a team of 5 from the provincial Sci-tech Information Institute headed by Zhou Juqian, chief engineer, visited Daphne on a survey tour under accompaniment of the prefectural & county sci-tech officials. 
      After listening to Daphne officials' introduction to Daphne's history, product R&D and the direction of development of technical research in the "12th Five-year Plan Period", Mr. Zhou gave full affirmation of Daphne's performance and contribution in technological innovation to driving of the local Wenshan panax notoginseng industry. Mr. Zhou pointed out that the scientific research plans across the province for the "12th Five-year Plan" period shall be aimed at "surrounding new product development, drive technical innovation in the industry, introduce advanced production lines and improve the modernization level of TCM drugs". He required Daphne to carry out the scientific researches around the provincial industrial policy and try to win more policies and fund support from the province and prefecture.
