On June 17, Daphne Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd., a famous private enterprise in our province, donated their new national-level functional health product - panax pseudoginseng Likang Tablets to show their solicitude for the Yunnan Provincial CDC, Kunming University No.1 Attached Hospital, provincial No. 1 People's Hospital and Kunming No. 3 People's Hospital, whose staff had been working hard for two years on the front line against SARS. So far, the Daphne Co. has donated 900 pieces of panax pseudoginseng Likang Tablets, worth more than RMB 5 million yuan to those organizations nationwide fighting on the first line against SARS.
The Daphne Co., located in  the Wenshan County Capital, Wenshan Zhuang & Miao Autonomous Prefecture, is a private enterprise mainly engaged in development of panax pseudoginseng series products. Now the Company has over 60 products, including national Class I new drugs like Qishengli and Qishengjing and national-level functional health food like Tang-d Kang Capsules and panax pseudoginseng Likang Tablets. On May 16, the Company donated some panax pseudoginseng Likang Tablets and Qishengli, worth RMB 20,000 yuan, to Shaanxi and Inner Mongolia. On May 28, the company donated 600 pieces of panax pseudoginseng Likang Tablets, worth RMB 3.48 million yuan, to Shanghai, which has been dedicated to help Yunnan. Yesterday morning, Daphne persons sent 100 pieces of panax pseudoginseng Likang Tablets, which they produced urgently using much overtime, to the local medical staff.
