        On the occasion of convention of the Wenshan China International Forum on Special Yunnan Drugs in Wenshan, on December 20 and 21, 2009, the Wenshan Mingde Society for Promotion of Sinological Culture and Education held a workshop at the Daphne's 2nd Conference Room on sinological culture and education. The vice prefectural governor Zhang Xiulan, vice prefectural CPPCC chairwoman Chen Li and Daphne's executives attended the workshop.
        Professors Xiong Qian and Fan Jun, with their profound knowledge and experience, gave simple explanation and case study on sinological thoughts and other knowledge, such as Dizigui (Pupils' Rules and Disciplines). They stressed 14 essential conditions and 9 points on team building, and raised many important and practical questions on what is team and how to build a team.
        At the exchange meeting on December 22, Tan Zhaoming, VP at Daphne, exclaimed that, “let's come together to study sinology, and bathe our mind and heart”. His remarks were designed to inspire us to study and use the sinological thoughts. When it came to exchange on study of Dizigui, Xiang Changwan, VP, expressed his ideas according to Daphne's condition. “Daphne must head in the direction of humanity and infinite love. When the company faces any challenge, we must use our infinite love to overcome it,” said Mr. Xiang. “Dizigui shows us a way to learn ourselves, influence others and address all the problems,” added he.
        Significantly, through case study and exchange, we were further inspired to think and do the things differently to enhance the cohesion among the team members, forge the spirit of teamwork as educated by the Dizigui's theory of “care, assurance, patience and confidence”, and consolidate the human-oriented approach. Team management is considered as an art. Each management person shall keep alerted all the time, and learn to stay on good term with various people. It taught us to do everything seriously, no matter you like it or otherwise.
        The key to forge the spirit of teamwork is the character and competence. According to the materialist dialectics, character is the internal cause, while competence is the external cause. External cause is given play of by the internal cause. That means “character is the direction, and competence is the skills”. High technical ability can not be acquired unless you head in a correct direction.
        In brief, to learn and apply sinology, one needs to have profound knowledge, clear and deep thoughts and serious practice, which are combined to build talents or perfect teams.
