        On the March 31, 2009 morning, 4 officials headed by Hong Shiqi, vice head at the Provincial Department of Technology inspected Daphne under accompaniment of Zhou Shihong, head at the Prefecture Bureau of Technology and He Mingxiang, Party boss at the Prefecture Bureau of Technology. 
        Mr. Tang, the president and Mr. Tan, vice president showed the guests around Daphne's showroom, and gave them a presentation of Daphne's evolution and progress of the ongoing construction project – 30T annual capacity export-oriented processing production line for food grade tPNS material.
        President Tang gave an introduction to Daphne's general information. He said, “through test on the market over the past 13 years, Daphne has grown to a leading enterprise in China for poverty relief and agricultural industrialization, one of the ten prioritized pharmaceutical enterprises in Yunnan that enjoy the government's support, a certified high-tech enterprise in Yunnan, and a leading enterprise in Yunnan in terms of agricultural industrialization. Daphne is known as the first pharmaceutical enterprise in Yunnan that obtained GMP certificate, and one of the first 8 enterprises that obtained national GAP certificate. In 2008, Daphne posted gross industrial output value of RMB 710 million yuan, or a year-on-year increase of RMB 101.13 million yuan or 16.6%, sales income of RMB 504 million yuan, or a year-on-year increase of 12.2%, profit of RMB 25.97 million yuan, and tax contribution of RMB 21.85 million yuan. ”
        In the meantime, Mr. Tan, vice president, gave an presentation of progress of the ongoing construction project - 30T annual capacity export-oriented processing production line for food grade tPNS material. Mr. Tan, vice president said, “through our effort, the relevant technical research has been completed. 40 kg of samples produced in pilot run have been sent to Japan. 80% of the building work has been completed. Now, we are selecting type of the equipment”.
        Next, the guests watched the drugs displayed. At sight of “Panax Notoginseng Home of Health, Superfine Active Panax Notoginseng Powder”, Mr. Hong laughed and said to Mr. Tang and Mr. Tan, “this product is sourced from panax notoginseng, and superior over ginseng.”
        In the end, Mr. Hong spoke highly of Daphne's achievements. He thought Daphne's management had clear thoughts and the effort was concrete. He expressed satisfaction with the initial work of the project under construction, and hoped Daphne to further enhance unification and seek more growth.
