At the news that strong earthquake registering 8 degree on Richter scale hit Sichuan – "the Heaven State", amid the massive sorrow, all the Chinese people found their hearts binding together. They pulled together and swung into action quickly to do something for the earthquake victims by all means.
        On the May 18 morning, "Wenchuan, We Are with You – Charitable Donation Activity", organized by the Daphne Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd. Yunnan, was held at Section A of the Wenshan International Trading Center. The relevant prefectural and county departments, all tenants of the Wenshan International Trading Center, and local panax notoginseng growers, circulators and traders took part in the activity.
        Many locals and tenants of Wenshan International Trading Center rushed to the activity venue. All of them shared a single aim: to take part in the activity, and dedicate love to helping the victims out of the sorrow and difficulties left by the disaster. On the background wall, the chanting slogan "Wenchuan - We Are with You" was eye-catching. It fully reflected the locals' aspiration to share the trouble with the earthquake victims.
        The activity started with speeches by Wang Jing, vice Wenshan county sheriff and Tang Zhangying, standing president of the prefectural Cross-Red. They called the locals to carry forward the traditional Chinese virtue that "when one party suffers, all parties come to help", and swing into action to help the victims out of the earthquake trouble at this moment.
        At the event, all Daphne's staff, the Wenshan Prefectural Song and Dance Troupe., Wenshan TV reporters and working staff expressed their affection and blessed the earthquake victims to rebuild their lives as soon as possible. In particular, the presenters Shen Jian and Liu Yan and a kid named Tang Xia, with profound feeling, recited a poet Come On, Baby, Grab Mom's Hand. It expressed their infinite sorrow and missing for the kids killed in the "May 12" earthquake, and drove many viewers into tears.
        The earthquake is ruthless, but we humans are full of affection. When one party suffers, all parties come to help. Tang Xiuwen, president at the Daphne Pharmaceutical (Group) Co., Ltd. Yunnan stood out first to contribute RMB 2.39 million yuan worth of panax notoginseng drugs for the victims, and called the staff to join him. The Wenshan Baoye Property Development Co., Ltd. donated RMB 1.034 million yuan of panax notoginseng drugs.
RMB 97079.4 yuan of cash and RMB 3.424 million yuan worth of panax notoginseng drugs were raised on the site. This donation event will run till May 28.
        As organizer of the activity, the Daphne Pharmaceutical Group is currently coordinating with food and drug watchdogs, in the hope that they come to supervise the production at the first-line production area. Meanwhile, Daphne organized the workforce to work overtime, so that the panax notoginseng drugs, including "Panax Notoginseng Trauma Tablets", "Panax Notoginseng Capsules", "Antiphlogistic Tablets" and "Thrombosis Tablets", are delivered to the disaster-hit area as soon as possible.
The Daphne Pharmaceutical Group will organize a fleet to deliver the drugs to the earthquake hit areas no later than June 1.
        The national sorry day also means time to rebuild the lives. Hopefully China will stand the test and Wenchuan will stand the test.
